All shipments are subject to full containers, so book early to avoid missing out. Get Routed NZ reserves the right to ask bike owners to send their bike to another loading departure point (at the owners expense) if a viable shipment (minimum 10 bikes) is not reached from the preferred loading port.
Please understand we don’t control the worlds shipping movements and shit can happen. We try our best to have your bike shipped to New Zealand as scheduled, but sometimes weather and slow or over burdened shipping companies can ruin our best efforts. Doesn’t happen very often, but it pisses us off and it will have that effect on you as well. We take all precautions to avoid it.

Long bikes (over 2.30 meters long): $5645.00 return.

Please bear in mind imports into other countries must be dealt with according to the import regulations of that country.

The cost covers container lease, loading/unloading, sea freight both ways, transport from ship to storage areas, use of bike-specific cradles and tie-downs, customs and quarantine clearance at both ends, and free secure storage for the first 3 days. Agency fees, storage handling fees, and wharf handling fees are also included.
Your bike must be spotless (preferably pressure washed). Extra cleaning costs up to $600/bike if necessary. Do not leave the bike in gear or locked. Disconnect and label panniers; use them as luggage when flying and wrap to avoid damage.
The $500 shipping deposit is non-refundable. It may be rolled over to another shipment within 12 months or refunded if someone else takes your space, at the discretion of Get Routed.
Temporary Registration and a Warrant of Fitness (WoF) are required to ride your bike in New Zealand. Plus a Full Motorcycle licence. Ensure your bike is roadworthy before loading. Costs for WoF and Tourist Registration are not included in the shipping prices.
