but.... we have several enquiries from previous IoM TT and UK Bike Shipping clients who want to go back and do more of Europe and finish with the IoM TT. The idea being that we ship some bikes from Australia to Izmir in Turkey to arrive and be available at the beginning of April, 2009.

The first group want to spend 3 weeks touring Turkey on their own bikes then head for Galipoli on ANZAC Day then up throught those small "disharmonious" countries on the eastern Coast of the Adriatic Sea and through Europe over May and ending up at the Isle of Man for the TT at the end of May.

Others want to cross over from Greece on a ferry to Southern Italy and ride the length of Italy and over the Alps.

Obviously you don't have to follow these routes, but we are receiving enquiries for this shipment and it will as usual be subject to a minimum of 10 bikes.

Enquiries continue to be received for this service and I am closer to having an answer on a shipment into Izmir. Maggie and I want to take our bikes to Turkey and spend a week or two around the Izmir - Bodrum coast before heading up the eastern side of the Adriatic Sea via Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Cosovo etc and ending up in northern Italy. From there we'll head across to England and to Ireland for the NW200 race meeting in Northern Ireland in mid May. Then to the Isle of Man for the TT.

While in Turkey we will visit an old mate who runs this business Dave has invited us to go for a cruise around the area for a few days. If some of our clients wish to join us (there's sleeping quarters for up to 8 people) Dave has offered us a very discounted rate.
